that lonely night feeling
not of lonely
but of night
the day no different
my paintings stacked
200 deep
womanwords scrawled
on a child's notebook paper
wondering if it makes
a bit of difference
to another woman
(as it does to me)
that women write and dance
and sing and paint
for her
