the senryu-san is how senryu began in japan. nothing more than vulgarities that mr senryu left in bars--anti-female for the most part. blyth cleaned it up as mother-in-law jokes etc. another 'joke' in haikuland.

senryu-san leaves the start of a lewd thought to be capped

the above haiku is how i understand senryu was written. as developed
by mr senryu. before mr blyth 'cleaned' up the concept for
westerners.

since women may not have been allowed to participate in japan it's an
intriguing thought how a woman might write senryu today.

if i write the first 'phrase' someone would cap it.
