one-line linked haiku    march 11-13 2002

under the microscope

of the wriggling under the microscope 'they're in me too?'
a swarm of men after another swarm of men
mountains pounded into mush cut to a commercial break
in the mist of everything a phoebe returns
hope the down of my pillow holds a soothing dream tonight
a happy home in spite of its looks

for the time being in 'condition yellow' a grey rain continues
seeing red a bull market lowers its horns
will towers rise again to prove america's still the moral architect
babble on the tube silenced by a mute
cold and windy still room on the tattered leaves to tatter
basho were he alive wonder if he'd have a website?
